Muslims in American Popular Culture

Greenwood Press will be publishing a three-volume reference set titled “Muslims in American Popular Culture,” which will be marketed mainly to university, public, and secondary school libraries.

This announcement contains a long list of potential topics for inclusion in the encyclopedia--everything from "veils and headscarves" to "Kareem Abdul-Jabbar."

Unfortunately, the deadline for submitting articles is super-close (September 30, 2010), so act quickly if you are interested. It may be worth asking for an extension if you have a good idea that should be included in what sounds like a very interesting set of books.
