Salaamu alaikum. Not trying to say this will help you win the contest :) but I'd like to let Houston-area sisters know that Tayyibah Taylor, editor-in-chief of Azizah, will be visiting Light of Islam Bookstore on Sunday, May 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. She will be speaking about promoting a positive image of Muslim women. A buffet lunch will be served. If you're in the area, I hope to see you there!
As-salamu Alaykum, Sr. Ruth, and thanks for stopping by. It is wonderful to see you making so much progress with the bookstore.
