NaNoWriMo

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The goal is to start (and finish) a 50,000 word novel by November 30th. In 2006, more than 79,000 people participated in this global event that places emphasis on quantity versus quality. I know of a few Muslims who will participate this year, including Echoes novelist Jamilah Kolocotronis. I expect she will be blogging about the experience.
