Alef Magazine

This is the first time I hear of Alef Electronic Magazine, so I do not have much to say at this point. According to the website:

"Alef is a Muslim lifestyle magazine, aiming to present to readers a balanced perspective on Muslims and Islam in different societies. It also presents diverse issues which have an impact on our world. Importantly, Alef aims to "inform" the readers of different issues, and not "preach" down to them, an attitude present in some present-day publications."

It is not clear to me whether this is a paying market, but there is an on-line forum where you can learn more about the project and interact with the editors and writers who put it together each quarter.

If you have experience with this publication, let us know by leaving a comment.
